
Michele Rodriguez is a dedicated child welfare professional with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and specialized training through the Baccalaureate Child Welfare Education Program. Before joining the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency as a caseworker, she served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in New Jersey. She continues to advocate for youth as a CASA volunteer in Pennsylvania while also serving as Director of Development for a nonprofit foster care organization.
Throughout her career, Michele has been recognized for her commitment to strengthening the experiences of children and families. She received a Special Commissioner’s Award from the New Jersey Department of Children and Families for her work transforming visitation rooms in a local office, was honored as CASA of Monmouth County’s Advocate of the Year, and earned a Child Abuse Prevention Award from Passaic County’s Division of Youth and Family Services.
Her work reflects a long-standing dedication to advocacy, family well-being, and improving child welfare systems.
